i don't know why i randomly thought of buffy the musical again. I haven't watched it since... I was maybe primary four. I suppose it's because the phrase "going though the motions" suddenly sprang to mind.

But really. I love that episode more than any other, regardless of the tv show or whatever. That's my favourite. It's got everything: Humour, witty songs with great emotional depth that are so fucking quotable, pain, doubt, betrayal, lust *HELLO SPIFFY SEXUAL TENSION*, and the revelation of Buffy's pain. and the makeout scene with spike at the end. I need to go dig out that video tape. AND BUY THAT SEASON. I only have the first season. Words cannot convey my love for this episode.

And this is why I pity kids today. They're probably never going to know the joys of Joss Whedon and the tortured hero named Buffy. They will never know the hotness of Spike and the sweetness of Willow and Tara.

I miss my childhood.
